Unipox Epoxy Primer

This is a double-component, reaction-dry, epoxy-resin based, polyamide hardener cured, highly filling, highly adhesive, universal epoxy protective primer that creates a solid base for the top paint coats.

Surface Preparation&Application
Surfaces must be free of any loose materials that could reduce adherence. All metal surfaces should be sandblasted at minimum degree of ST2 or ideally at Sa2 ½ and primed with Epoxy Universal Primer within 6 hours.
Thinning / Blending Ratio
7 units of epoxy primer and 1 unit of epoxy primer hardener. 10% Epoxy Thinner.
Coverage Area
5-6 m²/L at dry film thickness of 6 microns.
Drying Time
At 23°C and 50% relative humidity, the paint is touch-dry in 2 to 4 hours. Minimum 24 hours resting time before the application of another coat. Reaches chemical resistance in 7 days.
Recommended Application Tools
Airless paint gun, roller, brush.
