Rapid Extra Paint

Styrene modified alkyd resin-based, fast drying, gloss industrial paint. It is used for painting any kind of machinery components; farming, household and garden appliances; tractors, trailers, transformer, auto-radiator components, barrels, valves, steel cupboards and tables. Adheres perfectly to metal surfaces.

Surface Preparation&Application
The application surface should be cleaned of every substance that could reduce the adherence. Metal surfaces should be sandblasted to a minimum of Sa 2½, which is the ideal surface preparation method, and primed within 6 hours using Perla Industrial Primer, Rapid Primer, or Polyjet Rapid Primer. After the primer has fully dried (approximately 2 hours), the topcoat application can begin. The surface temperature must be at least 10°C. Application should not be carried out near the dew point or on wet or moist surfaces.
Thinning / Blending Ratio
May be thinned by 20-30% with POLI-HRM THINNER.
Coverage Area
6-7 m²/L or 4-5 m²/kg (50-60 µ Dry Film Thickness)
Drying Time
Touch dry in 20-30 minutes, and hard-dry in 24 hours. Achieves its physical and chemical durability in maximum 5 days. 1 hour interval between coats.
