Polimetal Hammer

This is a solvent-based, silicon, top coat paint that can be applied directly on metal and rusted surfaces with hammered effect. Suitable for direct application onto rusty surfaces without the need for primer or mid-layer after the loose and coarse rust has been removed. It is highly effective against corrosion as a primer and top coat. Also resistant to harsh climatic conditions, such as very strong sunlight, high humidity and temperature changes. Adheres perfectly to metal surfaces and dries rapidly.

Surface Preparation&Application
Grease and dirt should be cleared from the application surface; rust particles should be removed using a wire brush or coarse emery; and the surface should be wiped with paint thinner. It is applied as 2 coats directly on rusty surfaces. ½ to 5 hours should be waited between each coat and if this time is missed the second coat should be applied after 30 days long ossification period.
Thinning / Blending Ratio
Ready to use. If thinning is required for brush application, it should be thinned with maximum 5% Poli HRM Thinner, and for spray gun, it should be thinned with maximum 20% Poli HRM Thinner.
Coverage Area
8-10 m²/L on single coat.
Drying Time
At 20°C, the paint is touch-dry in 30 minutes and hard-dry in 24 hours.
Recommended Application Tools
Roller, brush and spray gun.
